The

Drift

A freeform luxury camping experience
focused on reflection & connection.

Fall 2018 in Central Texas

In a dérive, one or more persons during a certain period drop their relations, their work and leisure activities, and all their other usual motives for the movement and action, and let themselves be drawn by the attractions of the terrain and the encounters they find there.

It’s Time

It’s time for a time out. You need time and space to reflect and reconnect. Take an opportunity to gain some perspective and rediscover your wonder. Where have you been? Where are you now? Where are you going? You need to go on The Drift.

To Rediscover

On The Drift, age doesn’t matter, titles and functions don’t matter, impending deadlines don’t matter, social feeds don’t matter, and the expectations of others don’t matter. Instead, on The Drift, you will rediscover what does.

What Matters

Imagine this: as Friday comes to a close, you meet at a central location in Austin and board a bus heading for the hills. On the way you meet others seeking a time out. Eventually you’ll arrive at an undisclosed site to find a nourishing meal under an open sky. Later you’ll gather around a campfire to set intentions. Under star cover, lantern in hand, you are led to your very own private glamping bell tent suite. Without giving too much away, the rest of the experience is filled with delightful opportunities to reflect and connect, including but not limited to:

  • Creative writing
  • Nature walks
  • Guided stargazing
  • Sunrise yoga

By midday Sunday you’ll be headed back to reality, with a new found inspiration and perspective. You deserve this. You probably need it.
